Advent Power
Systems mission is to rapidly
and profitably develop,
manufacture, and sell innovative
engines for power generation and motive
power applications. |

Employing the
environmentally friendly
external combustion
Cyclone Technology engine
and associative technologies for
the U.S. Military, for biomass
production of energy, and
related areas which provide
superior and cost saving
capabilities to Advent Power
Systems clients.
-
The Cyclone
Technology engine is
designed around the
principles of an external
combustion engine. The
Cyclone Engine efficiently
uses any liquid or gaseous
fuel and creates more power
and significantly less
emissions than current
gasoline or diesel powered
internal combustion engines.
The engine is scalable in
its size and output such
that it can be utilized for
many different applications.
This can be for sizes as
small as 80 watts for
portable man-pack
applications, up to one
megawatt for utility style
power generations.
-
Biomass
energies are derived from
the use of a crop or organic
matter other than oil, coal,
natural gas or propane to
produce energy. Biomass
energies produced from
plants that are grown and
harvested; or grow largely
wild such as trees and
grasses. Animal waste and
municipal garbage can also
be converted into biomass
energy fuels. Advent Power
Systems is working with
Florida Syngas on a joint
venture to develop and
deploy systems in the one
megawatt range that will
convert glycerol, the waste
byproduct of growing
biodiesel production, into a
clean burning synthetic gas.
That gas can then be burned
in a Cyclone engine to
generate electricity.
-
Associative
technologies being developed
for the US Military include
primary power engines for
powering vehicles and
generator sets for auxiliary
power.
Advent Power
Systems is developing the
future. Alternative power
generation and the use of natural
substances such as water,
steam, wind, and
materials other than oil to
impart motion. |
